Cowdray Park-bred dreadlocked wheel spinner DJ 8Nine Muzique is set to release music visuals for his trending single titled Sondela featuring South African songbird Zethu.
From his base in Pretoria, South Africa, the DJ who is part of Deep Obsession Recordings said he decided to shoot the visuals for the single after it garnered more support across the South of Limpopo.
Just like Santa Claus, the music video will be a package of a present for his fans for Christmas.
“Sondela is a song which made a name for me in Mzansi because I worked with one of that country’s most sought after vocalists Zethu.
With the fame and numbers, the single has gained so far, we decided to push it further and shoot visuals for it.
“Because we are already in the festive season, we decided to drop the video on 19 December as a Christmas present for our fans, these are the people that have pushed me to reach my full potential and the video is a sign of showing gratitude to them,” said 8Nine.
Sondela is 8Nine Muzique’s first visuals project in his career spanning over four years.
The video was shot and directed by cinematographers Sniper and Len.
The single is a theme song of a South African series called Chillas.
