THE house of Givenchy has over the years built a solid reputation as a fragrance on the local market.
Every time it drops something new on the market, it makes sure that local fashion buffs are in the loop.
Having released a new product for women a few weeks ago, it also released a new product for men – Gentleman Society – on Wednesday.
Fragrance enthusiasts from across the world over are fussing over the new brand, which is expected to be a hit.
“The brand imagines the community as a reflection of a multi-faceted masculinity that is resolutely forward-thinking, constantly reinventing the rules while remaining true to who they are and to their commitments,” reads a statement from Givenchy.
Major local beauty shops, including Catts Beaute and Licorice, are making it their main attraction.
It is believed that Gentleman Society has the aromatic notes of Sage, which blend with absolute the wild daffodil flower that is harvested in France.
This unique floral expression contrasts with the dark and intense facets of a Vetiver quartet from Haiti, Uruguay and Madagascar.
The essences of Cedarwood and Sandalwood then melt with a sensual Vanilla and the resulting fragrance is deep and multi-faceted.
The bottle design is a reinterpretation of the iconic Gentleman design. It is couture-inspired for a refined look, with a deep black lacquer finish that is completed with a new twist on the signature silver-metal 4G logo, emblazoned like a crest.
The bottle is made from 15 percent post-consumer recycled glass, making it an eco-friendly option for consumers who care about the environment.
