This is an ultimatum which was given to a woman from Shangani by her abusive live-in boyfriend making it clear that he did not want to part ways with her.

Julian Chiza further claimed that her husband was sexually abusing her and their three children were fruits of sexual abuse.

This came out when Chiza sought help from the courts to evict Tuesday Moyo from her homestead as she is refusing to leave.

“I was having an affair with Tuesday Moyo and our relationship resulted in three children. He has always been abusive and has assaulted me on several occasions.

“He was also forcing himself on me, that is the reason we have got those children,” said Chiza.

Following his unacceptable behaviour, Chiza finally decide to show him the exit, but he refused to vacate saying he was not going to leave his children behind.

“When I told him to move out of my homestead he refused and made it clear that he could only leave after killing the children because there was no way he could leave them under my care,” said Chiza.

The woman revealed that she realised that both her life and of the children were in danger and therefore needed a protection order.

“Moyo’s conduct has become increasingly dangerous and risky for my life. He is threatening to kill the three children aged eight, 11 and 15 as he cannot leave them behind,” she said.

However, Moyo disputed the allegations saying they were still sharing a bed though at times they sleep facing different directions.

The magistrate Tinashe Tashaya granted the order in favour of applicant with respondent told to vacate and not to verbally, physically, sexually and emotionally abuse the woman.
