ACTOR Noah Hannock, 22, has said he will use his movie character to promote the rehabilitation of drug addicts.

Noah features as Kondwani in a new movie Ngoda which is set to première in March.

The movie tackles drug abuse.

“I would like to believe that Kondwani in Ngoda Season 1 will bring a lot of awareness to drug abuse and its consequences.

“The ‘character’ promotes the transformation and change that rehabilitation can bring to a drug addict’s life.

“Kondwani faced all sorts of consequences that come with drug abuse, but life after rehab was better and worth living for him,” he said.

He said his role will promote more awareness, educate and inform people about the causes, effects and ways to deal with drug abuse.

“Drug abuse is a very critical social issue that is affecting, not only our youths, but even grown up men and women in our society.

“It is very sad that drug abuse is actually getting worse every day, with people getting access to different types of drugs.

“I believe that a lot needs to be done to address this issue to ensure that our youth get to better their lives, especially in vulnerable communities,” said Noah.

He has always been passionate about media and entertainment despite being in the construction and engineering industry.

He has been a wedding dance choreographer and also worked at Africa Network Television. He also featured in the Justice TV Series, which aired on ZTV in 2021 where he played the double role of twins.
