Afro fusion artist feels he is making progress

AFRO-FUSION artist, Sabastian Sobs, reckons he is making remarkable progress in his musical journey.

He believes consistency is what leads to success in life.

Having started his musical journey, as a nonentity, the Dzivaresekwa-based crooner said God has lifted him into spaces he never imagined.

He also hailed his fans for their support.

“I’m so excited to be where I am today that I am at a loss for words.

“It’s not because of my power, or intelligence, but I managed through God’s grace.

“I would like to thank my fans, and all those who supported me from the beginning, till now,”he said.

The crooner said he managed to release a lot of single tracks due to his fans’ massive support.

“To date, I have a lot of single  tracks that were received well by fans.

“It really feels good and motivating to offer something that receives massive response and support.

“I really appreciate everyone who believes in me and my music,” he said.

He added:

“Am being motivated and encouraged to push more.

“I’m now working on another single track titled Love Overflow.

“I’m done with the official audio and I’m now working on visuals because I want to release the track together with visuals.”

Sobs said he has started holding shows.

“I started to host shows in early August and, as a beginner, I am seeing progress.

“People have been showing up at my shows and I can confidently say that I am going somewhere.

“I never thought that I would be able to host shows with my own money but, with God, everything is possible,” said Sobs.

However, the crooner bemoaned the lack of support from promoters.

“I really appreciate the roles that promoters are playing in the music industry.

“But, the inevitable challenge we are facing is, promoters always work with well-established artists, they promote prominent artists with big names already.

“They don’t consider upcoming and small artists.

“Seriously, it’s not fair, because all those big artists started small.

“I hope promoters will take time to put upcoming artists into consideration and embrace their talent,” he said.
