The deadliest attack occurred in Karradah district in central Baghdad, when a powerful blast went off outside the building of the Integrity Commission, killing 23 people and wounding 46 others.
The attacks came amid growing struggle between Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s leading Shiite bloc and his political rivals, as the US troops concluded their withdrawal plan a few days ago, leaving less than 200 personnel in the country on training mission. — Xinhua.
