Alexandra Sport Club leading the pack

Highlands Sports Club are second with eight points while the hosts Avondale had six points together with Alexandra B team.
Avondale B, Borrowdale B and Avondale C have got four points each while Alexandra C and Borrowdale A could only manage to get two points apiece. The teams will resume their contest this weekend.

The tournament is a build-up to the ‘Nationals’ tournament, which is played annually over the Easter weekend followed by the Pairs and Trips and then finishing off with the singles.

The women’s section has just completed the sixth round. The teams are due play nine rounds to be completed on March 24 at Alex Sports Club.
While the women have finished their six rounds, the men have just completed four, as they only have seven rounds to play.
