The Shaina hit-maker who celebrated his birthday with fans in Harare as a way of thanking and giving back said he was overwhelmed with the way his fans had stood by him throughout his career spanning 15 years.

“I owe everything to my fans. My success in the music industry is because of them. They’re the reason I’m still here as a musician. For this reason I decided to celebrate my 36th birthday and 15 years in the music industry with them,” Kawara said.

He said fans had seen him grow from when he was an urban grooves artiste to his evolution to afro-jazz.
