They say everything is bigger in Harare.

British reggae outfit UB 40 led by Ali Campbell produced one of the biggest performances to celebrate Africa Day at Old Hararians Sports Club.

The British reggae legends performed a string of their hits, including “Red Red Wine” which had the crowd singing along in unison.

Earlier in the day, there had been doubts as to whether it was the correct UB 40 performing, but Ali Campbell put those to bed with his fantastic voice and stage presence.

The crowd thoroughly enjoyed themselves, dancing and singing along to both older tracks and recent releases.

Campbell later expressed his gratitude to the Zimbabwean audience for a great night: “Fantastic show in Zimbabwe. Big Love to all that came to party,” said Campbell.
