MPUMALANGA Black Aces defensive midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha is happy at his new team. He says things are working great for him at the Mpumalanga based team and enjoys each and every single moment with them.
He urged everyone to rally behind the team because their coach Clive Barker has assembled the strongest ever squad.
The former Warriors midfielder said he is not bothered that he was not fielded in a team that played over the weekend when his team drew 1-1 away to Bloemfontein Celtic. He said in the beautiful game one must work extra hard to get preferences in the starting line up and accept a coach’s decisions.
The former Kaizer Chiefs industrious midfielder told Chronicle Sport: “I’m one of the experienced players in the team I have to lead by example through helping my team and guiding youngsters on the pitch when we are on training even at the official games.”
“I’m happy that we played good football on our first game of the season, it was great to see my countrymen Tendai Ndoro scoring from a tight angle and showing his qualities as a striker.”
Nengomasha said joining Aces at his age is always cherishable and a dream come true.
“The good thing is that I’m part of the rejuvenated side which has high hopes this season”.
He said he will support all the players who are in the starting line up.
“Here we play as a team and we are a one big family”.
The former Highlanders player was offloaded by Bidvest Wits last season.
The other Zimbabwean player at Aces is Energy Murambadoro.
