All is set for A-list birthday party, which is being hosted for Aldrian Harrison, affectionately known as Beefy in the hip-hop circles.
The event will be held at Pariah State in Avondale tomorrow starting at 8pm with a line up of activities taking place.
Invited guests are expected to come dressed in all white and it is strictly by invite.
In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Beefy said all was in place for his big day.
“The A-list party is an annual event. We have entertainment from disc jockeys who include, DJ Dee Nosh, Maxxy, Dj Phat Beatz, Jerry Springer, Carter and Taffmiles. It is strictly by invite,” he said.
Beefy said guests will start off with red carpet moment.
“The event will kick off at 8pm and invited guests will get pictures and interviews at the entrance upon arrival and ushered into the party.
“The concept behind the A-list is to invite the who-is-who of Harare, to come showcase their wares (dress sense).
“It’s not a fashion show but a white affair where everything will be white, giving the five star ambiance,” he said.
He said this year is different as in that the invited guest number is huge.
“As always, celebrity numbers each year continues to grow therefore we have catered all departments be it fashion and music and those top dogs are invited.
“We have a surprise guest on the night. I am happy with the response of some local stakeholders and celebrities who have already confirmed their coming,” he said.
Asked about what he is wearing on the night as he is most known for bringing the European designer look, he said it is also a surprise.
“I have engaged a number of designers who I am working with and like years before, will keep my outfit a surprise and be revealed on the night,” he said.
For the past years Beefy has hosted a number of big events, which were themed celebrity style.
He started his career in entertainment in 2006 and has founded other events such as the Zim Hip-hop Awards, which were launched in 2011.
Last year the event was held at Grain Lounge at Newlands Shopping Centre and was sponsored by Famous Grouse (wine company) and Alcohol Killer.
The event had over 400 guests in attendance .
