The stage is set for the 2024 Chibuku Road to Fame finals, taking place on Saturday at Glamis Arena in Harare.
Under the theme “Bviravira, Tshay’iNgoma”, the event promises a vibrant showcase of musical talent, with contestants performing genres from Afro-fusion to Afro-traditional, sungura, and gospel.

The ten competitors vying for the title are Panhimbe Crew (Masvingo), Charlotte and The Vibrant Band (Manicaland), Pilgrims of Christ (Mashonaland East), Boom Jazz (Mashonaland West), Kweseka (Matabeleland North), Music 2 Music (Bulawayo Metropolitan), Fugees (Matabeleland South), The Outlaws (Harare Metropolitan), The Cousins (Midlands), and Shanty Town (Mashonaland Central).
The event, starting at 10am, will also feature entertainment from last year’s winners, the 911 Band from Midlands province, alongside performances from established acts such as Feli Nandi, Freeman, Jah Master, and Chillspot Family. Admission is free.
Past Chibuku Road to Fame winners include The Travellers, Romeo Gasa, Club Shanga, Munandi Express, and Terry & Bliss.
