The stage is taking shape for the much anticipated Kadoma Music Festival set for 5 October at The Odyssey Kadoma, with event organisers expecting the gig to boost domestic tourism just like in previous years.
Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz (pictured) who is among the most listened to African artistes on Spotify will be the headline performer. Local music heavy weights Jah Prayzah, Alick Macheso, and Winky will also take to the stage with Sainfloew, Kurai Makore, Gemma Griffiths, DJ L-Roy and DJ King Her completing the line-up.

Festival director Tichaona Mharadze said it was all systems go.
“We have covered almost 90 percent of what is required to host the show. It is now our third edition and we expect people to show up in numbers. Most of the rooms have been taken and advance tickets are selling fast,” he said.
Mharadze hailed local players in the hospitality sector for supporting the festival.
“We are glad the hospitality sector is receiving good business because of our festival. We are also doing our best to market Kadoma’s hospitality,” he said.
Over the years, the festival has hosted huge African music figures such as Koffi Olomide, Mafikizolo and Makhadzi, to mention a few.
