THE Miss Environment Zimbabwe title competition will be held in Kariba on Saturday.
Initially, the competition was scheduled to take place at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
Speaking to The Sunday Mail Online, organisers of the Miss Environment Zimbabwe said they moved the event in line with plans to spread it across provinces.
“We need to host the event in all the places around Zimbabwe. This way, we will be exploring all the tourism products in the country,” said one of the organisers, Ishmael Murangandi.
At least 18 models are taking part in the contest, with the ultimate prize being a brand-new car.
There is also a cash prize of US$5 000 up for grabs.
