All set for tri-nations table tennis tourney

Zimbabwe is set to host Botswana and Zambia with Muringani saying the competition would give the players the much-needed international exposure.
“We have some of our players like Cynthia Marisamhuka and Felistas Fungayi-Mashingaidze who are going for the All Africa Games.
“These will make up the women’s A team,” said Muringani.
Vimbai Makuvaza and Portia Makuvaza-Munemo will form the B team for the hosts.
Zimbabwe will, however, field three teams for the men’s competition.
“There is going to be the A team comprising of Tinashe Chikaka and Takudzwa Mudoni.
“Our B team is also quite strong while the idea of the C team is to expose the youngsters to high level of competition.
“I am sure its going to be an exciting event,” said Muringani.
Last month the ZTTU sent a team to Zambia for a Four-Nations Tournament that featured Zambia, Malawi Zimbabwe and Tanzania.
