All set for Zupco buses commissioning

All is set for the commissioning of the latest batch of 50 new Golden Dragon buses from China by President Mnangagwa this afternoon.

Local Government and Public Works Minister July Moyo, his deputy Cde Marian Chombo, secretary Mr Zvinechimwe Churu, Zupco chief executive Mr Evaristo Madangwa have since arrived at Zupco head office in Belvedere, Harare.

Over the last 12 months, Government has imported more than 400 buses from China, not only boosting the Zupco fleet, but starting the process of standardising models easing maintenance and allowing good stocks spares.
