Reckless driver freed on bail pending appeal

A man who was recently convicted of reckless driving after ramming into Zimbabwe Defence Forces Commander General Valerio Sibanda’s was today freed on bail pending appeal by the High Court.

Desmond Sinoia, who was jailed 12 months by Harare magistrate Mrs Barbra Mateko after admitting to the offence, was freed on $50 000 bail his appeal against sentence.

Sinoia, who was being represented by lawyer Prof Lovemore Madhuku, was freed by Justice Webster Chinamora.
