FOUR people died and two were hospitalised after drinking a concoction made from an aloe vera plant at Gonorenda Homestead, Marange, and Mutare.
One victim remains unidentified, pending further verification.
In a statement on X, Police said four people died while two others were admitted at Mutambara Mission Hospital after drinking the concoction on 27 October at around 4pm.
Three of the four victims were identified by their next of kin as; Joseph Myambo (45), Brighton Gwenzi Chibhosho (27) and Kudakwashe Marambire (44). The other victim is yet to be identified by the next of kin.
Police said more details will be availed in due course.
