Man Waiting for Transport Killed in Harare Hit-and-Run

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said,” The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident in which three people, who were standing by the roadside, were killed after being hit by a Fuso truck with no passengers on board at the intersection of Kushanda Crescent and Patrenda Way, Budiriro 2, Harare on May 9, 2025.

A MAN from Harare was knocked down by a car while he was waiting for transport.
The unnamed man sustained multiple injuries before he was taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where he died.
The motorist is on the run.
In a statement on X, Police said they are investigating a fatal hit-and-run road traffic accident which occurred on 27 October at around 7pm along Kirkman Road near intersection of Monavale Road. A man who was standing by the roadside waiting for transport was hit by an unknown motorist who did not stop after the accident. The victim sustained multiple injuries before being taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where he died upon admission. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.
