The 22-year-old singer, recently, took to his Instagram to share a snapshot of him undergoing eye surgery, with a lengthy caption that revealed that he has an eye disease that has left him blind in one eye and losing vision in the other. August ensured fans that doctors are doing everything to correct any further damage and thanked god for allowing him to see.
“So I have this eye disease . . . Blind in my left, and losing vision in my right. In order to prevent my eyesight from deteriorating I had to do this surgery,” August writes.“
A lot of things that are so natural to us in life (like waking up and being able to see) we can take it for granted. Thank God the OG for allowing me to see . . .
