CONTROVERSIAL entertainer, Mai TT, has hailed her UK fans who showed up in numbers for her “One Night Only” show held over the weekend.
She shared her gratitude and satisfaction on her Facebook page.
There were attempts to try and encourage the Zimbabweans based in the UK to boycott her shows.
The fallout stemmed from some comments, which she made in the past, mocking some Zimbabweans who work in the UK.
However, it appears the campaign failed miserably.
She revealed she was happy with the turnout for the events.
“We broke a record,” she said.
“One night only with Mai TT was a full house, ladies and gentlemen came out and showed some crazy love I got no words.
“I don’t even know where to start from but guys you showed me that no amount of hot spotting will make you not want to attend.”
She said it went beyond her imaginations.
“Filling up all the hotels in the UK, Hilton, just for me.
“Thank you so much family, if I start mentioning names I will not even finish all of you but may the good Lord bless you for me.
“Those who came from far and wide thank you.”
She added that the event was an eye-opener for many women who came through.
