Gospel singer ropes in Muparinga

GOSPEL musician, Isaac “Ikey” Nyoni, has roped in popular street preacher, Evangelist Trymore Muparinga, on his single titled ‘‘How Excellent’’.

The singer, who seems to be finding his strength in collaborations, believes there is power in combining forces.

He recently did another collaboration with gospel guru. Machanic Manyeruke, named Mwari Vakanaka.

“The song speaks about the greatness of God and how excellent He has been in my life and others.

“It’s a song of gratitude, a song of praise, the testimony of your lips holds a greater encouragement to the next person.

“It’s not only in what you do but how you allow God to work in your life. Let’s Praise,” he said.

Ikey said he roped in the preacher after listening to his sermons.

“I have listened to many of his sermons and he always testifies how excellent the Lord has been to his life since he was a young boy and how his ministry has grown.

“He always attributes it to the hand of the Lord and how excellent the Lord has been in his life.

“So, I featured Evangelist Muparinga and Desire Makoni and the song was produced by Eternity Production.

“We also have a video which IS already doing well on different platforms.”

To his credit, Ikey has released ‘‘Greater Is He Who Is In Me,’’ ‘‘Mabasa Makuru,’’ and, since 2020, he has been releasing singles.
