10-YEAR-OLD Anashe Sithole – who traces his bloodline to Chipinge’s Gaza high-density – was named man-of-the-match in the Northampton and District Youth Alliance League in UK when his grassroots team SYL Greens played against SYL Whites.

They won 4-0 in the cup final.

Young Anashe Sithole, who has also been getting rave reviews even from own SYL Greens club, was recently described as: “A strong midfield player who holds the middle of the pitch really well. He is excellent at recovering the ball, breaking up play and giving the team strength and control in the midfield.”

The young and highly promising Zimbabwean football talent began his football journey in Zimbabwe, attending soccer camps and clinics.

He relocated to the United Kingdom with his parents, where he was scouted and began training in the youth setup at Northampton Town Football Club.
