YET another newly-born baby has been dumped in the Ushewokunze area.
The body of the baby was dumped in a black plastic bag at a dump site in the area.
The baby’s head could be seen in a black plastic bag which was dumped near some used diapers.
“We woke up to see this dumped baby and it got our attention,” said a resident.
“We suspected the baby was dumped overnight and we don’t even know the culprit.”
Another resident said cases of baby dumping were rife in the area.
“We still don’t know the reason why so many women are dumping their kids here.
“Maybe, the responsible fathers will have refused to take care of them.
“But dumping is not an option.
“In the first place, people should be responsible and find ways to protect their kids because dumping an innocent soul is not fair.
