TWO sisters from the Avenues area of Harare – Imara Severa, 9, and Margaret Severa, 8 – have been caught up in a vicious family tug-of-war, since June 10, which even saw their father’s relatives claim they have been missing for THREE WEEKS.
However, their mother say Imara and Margaret are safe and sound and any suggestions that they are missing is misplaced.
What became clear yesterday is that the two minor kids have been caught up in a vicious family tug-of-war.
“Good day in response to the matter and post currently being flighted regarding my daughters being missing, I would like to make it clear, as their mother and legal custoian of my daughters, make it known that my daughters are safe and fine.
‘Their father, Tinashe Severa, is very much aware.
However, the spokesperson of their father’s family, Reward Severa, claimed the two sisters have been missing since June 10.
Reward said the two sisters stays with their mother during the week and visits their father’s home during weekends.
The two sisters are day scholars.
In an interview with H-Metro, Reward said:
‘’We reported the matter to the police and they are also still looking for them, and as a family, we are hurt and we just hope and pray that they are safe and protected wherever they are because they are still minor children who need care, guidance, protection and parental help.
‘’There are no words to convey how terrible this situation is to us as the Severa family.
“We need your help to bring them home safely.
‘’They are young girls who love going to school and enjoy time with their family.
“If any information might assist please contact us. We really miss them a lot because currently we do not know if they are safe or not.”
