Apostle Chipoyera renews vows in style

IT was glitz and glamour at the Bliss Gardens in Harare last Saturday when Kingdom Prosperity Ministries (KPM) founder Apostle Rodney Chipoyera celebrated 18 years of marriage to his wife, Farai, with the couple renewing their marriage vows.

The wedding anniversary was classy with the couple dressed in expensive outfits while top-of-the-range vehicles such as the latest Lexus Sport Utility Vehicle, Mercedes Benz and Range Rovers transported guests.

Faith World Ministries leader, Bishop Bartholomew Manjoro, who is the couple’s spiritual father, blessed the union and urged couples to value their marriages by renewing their vows constantly. Apostle Chipoyera described his 18 years marriage as a blissful journey full of love, laughter and friendship.

“God led me to marry Farai and when I saw her, I knew she was the right woman because she was a Christian and God fearing. She can be in the house of the Lord for 24 hours, the value and energy she places in God never burns out.

“My wife is generous, loves friends and family and is a good mother to our children. Our marriage looks like we got married yesterday, though a lot has happened,” he said.

He added that every person needs five relationships, the first being with God through Jesus Christ, then family and a mentor or pastor who provides guidance.  Apostle Chipoyera said the Bible is a gateway to a happy marriage.

“I dedicated this anniversary to my wife, to celebrate her as a gift from God, to celebrate love and to tell my wife I am not ashamed of her. l am ready to show the public that I still love her.” The couple renewed their marriage vows in the company of relatives, friends and church members.
