Arrest warrant issued

Macdonald Chikanya (18) of Unit A Extension in Chitungwiza absconded court for his routine remand.
He pleaded not guilty to three counts of theft when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Godfrey Unzemoyo last week.

Mr Unzemoyo heard that Chikanya stole textbooks from the school after writing his Advanced Level examinations this month.

Prosecutor Mr Luke Mutupe alleged that Chikanya was at the school premises on November 16 just after he completed writing exams. At around 5pm, he sneaked into a Form Three classroom, stole three textbooks and put them in a black satchel. – CR.
