ALL is now set for the annual homecoming Ekhaya Worship Festival set for Bulawayo on Africa Day.
Over 15,000 people have already registered for the second edition of this musical extravaganza set for Hartfield Stadium.
Canaan Nyathi, Oncemore Six, Loveness Mukutirwa, Mai Mwamuka, Lorraine Maplanka, Takesure Zamar, Zimpraise Choir, Blessing Jeduthun, Dumi Mkokstad, Minister Herman and Vusa Mangena are some of the artists set to grace the event.
The show, which is the brainchild of multi-award-winning gospel artist Minister Everton Mlalazi, was launched last year in May.
It is aimed at bringing different people together in worship.
The festival brings people from different denominations and artists from different countries.
In an interview, Mai Mwamuka said:
“I love worship and this time we are gathering together to celebrate the gift of life.
“We are coming to thank God for the gift of the life of Minister Mlalazi.
“This unites us, this brings us together – young, old, educated – whatever status you carry, please come.
“Let’s be united as the body of Christ to lift a voice of praise.
“We have the great man of God joining us at the Worship where we are worshiping the Lord in spirit and in truth.”
Minister Nkosi Herman said:
“We will be having the second edition of the Ekaya Worship Festival.
“I am so excited and I believe God is going to be moving in a mighty way.
“We are going to fill this entire place with the praises and the worship of the Most High God.”
Vusa Mangena said:
“I am super excited to be part of this festival. I urge all people to come and we minister together.”
Canaan Nyathi said his life is a testimony of the power of God.
“Bulawayo will be filled and the Ekhaya Worship Festival is home to everyone, regardless of background.”
