In a video taken by an Instagram user, the 22-year-old singer appears to pass out while performing at Irving Plaza in Manhattan.According to TMZ, witnesses said the star was unconscious when security guards moved him backstage after his fall. In the video, August is seen standing near the front of the stage before suddenly slumping over and falling into the crowd.
Fans crane their heads to catch sight of the commotion as security guards rush to the scene.
Witnesses told TMZ that paramedics arrived at the venue and that August was carried out on a stretcher.
He allegedly managed to wave to fans, but his current condition is not yet known.
August, who won this year’s BET best new artist of the year, just released a new music video for his remix No Love featuring Nicki Minaj.
Nicki, 31, ultimately manages to tame the beast and win over the singer.
