In an interview, Dr Dzamara who is set to launch three more books before the end of the year said the desire for his own voice as a Zimbabwean to be heard across the globe drives him to write as many books as possible.

“As Zimbabweans we have a problem of regarding something foreign as superior, people tend to recycle what others have produced.
“I crave for originality among Zimbabwean artists.

“So many people are speaking using other people’s voices and I think this has to stop, we need originality,” he said.
He said in one of his books “Finish What You Start”, he encourages people to finish whatever they start and not to lose hope.

“For most people the main challenge is not starting, it is finishing what they start,” he said.

“Anyone can start something, anyone can dream something, anyone can do and become something but unfortunately not everyone has the temerity and tenacity to finish what they start, hence the need to encourage,” he said.

His launch which was held at Innov 8 at Joina City recently was attended by prominent artists including Nigel Chanakira, Pastor Charles Charamba and rising Afro Jazz artiste Gary Tight provided entertainment.

His books are being sold in South Africa, United States of America and are also found online on Amazon and mobistore.
