People are likely to think me callous and uncaring, and even just a little conceited. When our people say, “They die and others are born” they are not being unsympathetic. All they are doing is to give the seasons their rightful place and recognition.

Rapist uncle jailed 12yrs
A 29-year-old Chitungwiza man was last Friday sentenced to 12 years in prison for raping his six-year-old niece. Chitungwiza regional magistrate Ms Estere Chivasa initially slapped the man with a 15-year sentence, but three years were conditionally suspended.
