JITI musician, Baba Harare, turns 34 on Thursday.
As part of the celebrations, he will release a single chronicling his life.
The yet to be named single will also have an accompanying video.
His celebrations will be held at Chop Chop Gardens, nestled in the heart of Zindoga Shopping Centre, Waterfalls, on Unity Day.
Speaking to H-Metro, Baba Harare said he was excited to celebrate the gift of life with loyal fans.
“I urge my old and new fans to come in numbers because it will be a special day for me.
“I had wanted the single to be a surprise gift to my fans, but this is now one of the presents I have for my fans.
“I can’t wait to perform on my birthday. For me, this is more of a celebration than a show,” he said.
The chanter also released his seventh studio album titled Zimbabwean Giant a few months ago
He featured Jah Prayzah on the songs, Haubvire, in the nine-track album.
He also collaborated with the likes of Blot, Dan LuP, Freeman HKD, Munyaradzi Munodawafa and Mai TT on a number of songs.
Rayo Beats mixed and mastered the Zimbabwean Giant album alongside Nyasha Timbe, who produced five tracks.
Born Braveman Chizvino, the energetic performer was raised in Bikita, Masvingo.
He made his name after a stint with Jah Prayzah before going solo in 2017.
After experimenting with various genres, Baba Harare has now settled for Jiti and Afro-fusion.
