AFRO-JAZZ musician, Moodah, has hailed Baba Harare for supporting upcoming artists.
Born Tafadzwa Sadindi, the 36-year-old has saluted Baba Harare for being there for him, in particular, and other upcoming artists.
He said this after he announced the dates of his album launch. He is set to release his first album, titled Musevo Pasipo, on September 2 and Baba Harare is one of the artists on the bill.
The launch will be held at Food Nest housed at LongCheng Plaza.
Peter Moyo, Progress Chipfumo, Baba Harare, Kireni Zulu, Romeo Basa, Trevor the One, Tellah Walami and Trevor Nhapi are going to perform at Moodah’s album launch.
Speaking to H-Metro, Moodah said all is set for the launch. “All artists that are going to perform at my album launch are ready.
“I am super excited and I can’t just wait for this big day. “It is the day I have been waiting for all my life and it is finally here,” he said.
The crooner said he has been humbled by Baba Harare’s support.
“Baba Harare is one of those big artists concerned about the empowerment of upcoming artists. “When I approached him to be part of my big day, he agreed to come.
“He is very humble and supportive, may the Lord remember him and bless the works of his hands,”said Moodah.
To date, Moodah has recorded eight single tracks. Moodah has experienced financial challenges in his musical journey, which stalled his progress.
