The former Premiership side, who are eyeing a return to the elite league after a two-year hiatus, are looking at nothing less than three points.
The third-placed team’s secretary general Wilbert Sibanda yesterday said their absence from the field had done the team a lot of good as the boys were rested and those who had injuries had since recovered.
“We are back in action, I think the break was an advantage for our players who had time to rest and those that had injuries have fully recovered.
“Although Projects are at the bottom of the log and we are third, we will not underrate them,” Sibanda said.
He said the team played a friendly with the Tripple B Under-19 side and won 4-1 at Crescent Grounds on Wednesday. Their new acquisition Lucky Nyathi bagged two goals, veteran Johannes Ngodzo and Evans Mwanza had a goal each.
Sibanda said Nyathi was a good player who had a lot of promise and they were expecting a lot from him.
In other matches Tsholotsho FC travel to Ntabazinduna to play Ntabazinduna FC after they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Hwange Juniors last Saturday.
Head coach Lizwe Sweswe said they were aiming for a top eight finish in their maiden fairytale run in Division One.
Second-placed ZPC Hwange will be back at the top of the log if they beat New West City when they clash at White City tomorrow.
Log leaders How Mine will not be in action this weekend.
