Be strong & courageous

Pauline Matanda

Joshua 1:9, “Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Where God wants to take you will require that you be strong and courageous. It will require that you keep on moving forward in the face of opposition. It will require that you step out in faith. Don’t wait for everything to be clear or in place. Act on the instruction of the Lord.

Hear His voice saying to you: Be strong and courageous. You are able to overcome the opposition.

The spiritual forces that are opposing you are the very same spirits that Jesus defeated on your behalf.

The barriers have no strong spiritual roots or foundation. If you charge at them they will crumble like the walls of Jericho.

NLT Bible. Joshua 6:15-16,20, “On the seventh day the Israelites got up at dawn and marched around the town as they had done before. But this time they went around the town seven times.

[16]The seventh time around, as the priests sounded the long blast on their horns, Joshua commanded the people, “Shout! For the lord has given you the town!

[20]When the people heard the sound of the rams’ horns, they shouted as loud as they could. Suddenly, the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the town and captured it.”

Do not give up; you are almost there. Victory is certain, just be strong and courageous. You are about to capture “your city of Jericho” just like the Israelites.
