Beitbridge woman on the run after stabbing hubby

The police are looking for a Beitbridge woman, Shorai Dube, who has been on the run after savagely stabbing her husband on Saturday morning.

The man sustained serious injuries.

It is understood that the suspect attacked her husband while he was asleep. The motive behind the brutal attack is yet to be established.

The officer commanding police in Beitbridge District, Chief Superintendent Melusi Ncube said the matter is under investigation.

“She allegedly stabbed him several times on the neck and abdomen. The injuries are serious and he is admitted at a local hospital. More information will be shared in due course,” said Chief Superintendent Ncube.
