KUNDAI Benyu has struggled to adjust to the hard and uneven surfaces of the domestic Premiership since his arrival at CAPS United at the beginning of the season.
But, in glimpses, there was always a flash that he is cut from a different cloth.
The midfielder, who still wants to play for the Warriors, chose the big stage to show that he still has the quality which helped him to play for Scottish giants Celtic.

But Benyu’s beauty ensured the match would end in a draw. Finally, Dynamos have doubled the goals scored by their own players this season and, inevitably, it came from a penalty.
The Glamour Boys now have three goals in their opening 12 games and only two of these goals have been scored by players on their payroll.

The pre-match was dominated by protests from some DeMbare fans who boycotted the match because they were unhappy with the way Bernard Marriot is running the club.
A sizable contingent of DeMbare fans ignored the call to boycott the match but it was also clear that many of those who usually come for such matches chose to stay away.
Dynamos are now just two points above Kwekwe United who are rooted at the bottom of the table.
CAPS United are just a point above their crosstown rivals.Saul Chaminuka, the new boss at Dynamos, insisted that the club have quality players who can get the team out of the drop zone.
“I think the boys played to instructions throughout the game besides that moment when they allowed Benyu to shoot from distance.
“Our game plan was to restrict them from having those shots and unfortunately we gave them a chance but I was impressed with how the boys played.
“I think we have players who can help us to get out of this position but we have to work on their confidence because talent is there.”
His counterpart, Ian Bakala, said he is still trying to come up with the best team for Makepekepe.
It was his second game in charge after taking over from Lloyd Chitembwe.His first game in charge produced a similar result against Herentals.
“As a player I never lost against Dynamos and it is something good that the boys maintained that with a draw but a win would have been more satisfying.
“I’m still assessing the boys to see who should play, and I will be giving preference to those who are showing more hunger at training.
“I believe after a month we will be in a better position to start winning games,” said Bakala.
