A WOMAN snatched her best friend’s boyfriend after the man upgraded his lifestyle and bought a new car.

Tsitsi Manhede says her fears were confirmed when she spotted Varaidzo Nhoda and her boyfriend, only identified as Learnmore, coming out of a lodge.

Varaidzo has since dragged Tsitsi to court where she has been granted a protection order after claiming she was being verbally and physically abused by her friend.

“I have no interest in her man, I know they have a child together and she should stop spreading these lies that I snatched her boyfriend.

“He is only a friend because I was the one who introduced her to her man, how can I be so cruel?

“She has been insulting me and fabricating these lies just to tarnish my image,” said Varaidzo.

Tsitsi said:

“I used to ignore the rumours that she was sleeping with my boyfriend until I saw her in his new car while they were coming out of a lodge in Chitungwiza.

“She is well aware that I have a child with Learnmore but she went on to have an affair with him.

“I confronted her and we had a scuffle. She should just look for her own man and leave Learnmore alone,” said Tsitsi.

Magistrate Judith Taruvinga told the two that no man is worth fighting for.
