Bev and the pregnancy that never was

Two months ago, the relationship between Bev and Andy Muridzo was the talk of the country as bit by bit, details of their illicit sex acts began leaking to the public.

What made news of the relationship all the more surprising was that it was coming from the proverbial horsesa�� mouth, as raunchy detail by raunchy detail, Bev and Muridzo took turns to wash their dirty laundry in public.

a�?Yes, Ia��m pregnant and ita��s two months. I also heard of the rumours Andy Muridzo is the father yes, he is the one responsible. I started feeling something awkward and I decided to do the tests,a�? said Bev.

Now two months on, the names Bev and Andy Muridzo are no longer the gossip fodder that they were in January.

For one thing, Zimbabwea��s most notorious dancer hasna��t made any more noise about the child that she expected to come from her brief fling with Muridzo.

Even her manager, a man that usually talks on her behalf and takes care of all her bookings, professes ignorance of the bun that Bev might have cooking in her oven.

As it stands I also dona��t know whether she is expecting a child or not so with that being the case I will leave for you to judge,a�? said her manager Harpers Mapimhidze when quizzed about how his charge was still performing when her pregnancy was supposed to be in its fifth month.

When the scandal broke, some naysayers had claimed that the alleged affair had been cooked up as a publicity stunt by the twoa��s respective camps.

While the months progress without Bev showing a noticeable baby bump, that theory seems all the more plausible.

The fact that the story broke just a few weeks away from the launch of Muridzoa��s album would also be of interest to conspiracy theorists who argue that Bev was never with child in the first place.

Last week, Muridzo went home $11 000 richer after the sale of a few copies of his recent album, Tichambotenderera, at a launch that was held at Hararea��s 7 Arts.

If in the next few weeks and months, Bev continues with her raunchy stage act with no noticeable change, some might begin to wonder when ita��s all said and done if she was ever pregnant and if she was, what she did with the pregnancy.
