Big Brother snoozers should be losers

JUST how do Mozambican Trezagah, Zambian Macky2, Malawian Mr 265 and Zimbabwean Butterphly survive in the Big Brother Hotshots show?
They are the most boring contestants and deserve to be out of the show to follow other evictees, Zambia’s Resa and Mozambique’s Mira, Nigerian Lillian, Ugandan Esther and Sabina from Kenya.

Resa, Mira, Lillian, Esther and Sabina deserved to be ousted for various reasons. But they were full of beans.

Butterphly, Trezagah, Macky2 and Mr 265 make no antagonistic sounds, cause no entropy, and do their best to stay out of trouble.

Resa and Mira’s undoing was their docility in a harsh, hypocritical environment. But they too were entertaining. Esther together with Ellah and Permithias failed because she employed boring, mechanical responses in her interactions with fellow housemates.

Sabina was unfortunate because she brought life into the house and formed part of Kacey Moore’s intriguing harem, with Tanzanian Laveda and Ghanaian M’am Bea.

Trezagah and Butterphly are virtual spectators inside the house. For a hip-hop artist and singer, Trezagah is a disappointment.

Coincidentally, Macky2 is another sleep-inducing hip-hop head. Butterphly, as a television presenter, is too introverted. The less said about Mr 265 the better, as he just plods along quietly.

All four of these players are not even involved in any controversial or salacious waves or shenanigans, like the troublesome Tayo of Nigeria, playboys Nhlanhla of South Africa, Ghana’s Kacey Moore and Idris of Tanzania.

Someone has to remind them to do something to make themselves memorable.

Surprisingly bar Macky2 – they are not among this weekend’s eviction candidates, namely Alusa, Ellah, JJ, Laveda, M’am Bea and Permithius. – Sowetan.
