A suspected sex pest from Lower Gweru allegedly broke into a 61-year-old granny’s bedroom and stripped her naked before caressing her private parts, a magistrate heard.
Bigboy Ncube of Pelandaba village under chief Sogwala in Lower Gweru appeared before magistrate Tendai Madanire to answer to unlawful entry and attempted rape charges.
He was remanded out of custody and will appear in court on December 8.
Ncube is being represented by Tonderai Chitere of Chitere Chidawanyika and Partners law firm.
Prosecuting Bernard Nyoni told the court that on an unknown date but in the month of August this year Ncube allegedly went to the complainant’s house.
She was alone.
The court heard that while inside the house Ncube allegedly forced the complainant to bend over but she refused and Ncube then unzipped his trousers and exposed himself to her.
The state alleged that Ncube proceeded to get hold of the complainant’s dress and pulled it up thereby leaving her private parts exposed since she was not wearing panties.
Nyoni alleged that Ncube went on to fondle the old woman’s buttocks, thighs and private parts.
Nyoni said the complainant screamed for help and her neighbour came running to the house to find Ncube already gone.
The court heard the complainant narrated her ordeal to her neighbour who advised her to report the matter to the police, leading to Ncube was arrested.
