THE biggest rap concert, Zimbabwe Hip Hop Culture, is set for tomorrow at Jongwe Corner in Harare.
A number of top artists in the genre — Volts JT, Holy Ten, Bagga, TI Gonzi, Bling 4 and Tanto Wave have all confirmed their participation.
Now in its second edition, the Hip Hop Culture battle is growing into one of the sought after events in the genre. In an interview with H-Metro, the organisers said they were ready to deliver a top performance.
“The preparations are going on well so far. We have a busy schedule anyway, last weekend we had a good performance in Zambia and now all roads lead to the Zim Hip Hop Culture.
“We have been preparing for the show for some time now and our fans should expect a top drawer performance.”
Zimbabwean hip hop artists are not only making an impact locally but have also crossed over into other markets in South Africa, Zambia and the UK.
The genre has some of the best artists in the country.
The artists include Holy Ten, Voltz JT, Takura, Bling4, Ti Gonzi and Saintfloew, to mention but just a few.
