Bingala delighted in Botswana

ZIMBABWE midfielder, Kelvin Bingala, said he is delighted with the opportunities he is getting in Botswana.

Bingala joined Orapa United last year on a two-year deal and is delighted that he is getting some game time unlike last season when he spent most of the time on the side lines.

“I’m enjoying my football in Botswana and the football here is not that different with ours although they focus more on the technical aspect.

“Last season I did not get much game time as I joined in mid-season, but this season I have a regular place in the starting line-up.

‘‘I have played in 12 matches out of 14 this season.

“I have scored five goals and made 11 assists.

‘‘My best goal was the one I scored in the Mascom Cup final which we won 1-0,” he said.

Orapa are third in the Botswana Premier League, three points behind Gaborone United who top the table with 33 points.

Oprapa beat BDF X1 3- 0 last Saturday and the midfielder said he is not getting carried away as there are still many games to be played.

“We have to take one game at a time and for now the focus is finishing on a respectable position,” said Bingala.
