Blabbermouth

No wonder he does not care when minors are raped!

WHAT is this that we hear about this learned colleague of ours who collects bribes without any semblance of conscience into circumstances behind the accused’s case?

I mean this other legal expert, working in that other small farming town in the south eastern border area.

We all know and understand that times are hard, hence many, are tempted to take bribes in their line of work, and for those like him, it is mainly to facilitate the release of criminal elements.

While we really do not promote corruption in all its forms, some may be condoned by the court of public opinion, simply because they take bribes from cases that do not affect any other person directly.

But surely not this good-for-nothing brother of ours, currently facing corruption-related charges emanating from a case involving sexual abuse of a minor.

For those who could be struggling to make head and tail of this corrupt bloke, his first name is synonymous with the Biblical character who helped found churches, himself being an early Christian evangelist and first Christian bishop in some city.

His surname is reminiscent of a certain former senior men’s football national team captain, who traces his roots from this beautiful province, and used to ply his trade in a neighbouring country.

We might have all read how this learned friend of ours altered the complainant’s statement to facilitate a lighter sentence for a suspect accused of raping a minor.

Gentle reader, no matter how much we love money, there are circumstance that demand one to have their conscience and faculties at work.

If this was your child, sister or relative, how would you feel?

Nonetheless, word reaching Blabber is that this learned bloke is of questionable sexual orientation. In other words, he takes fellow men for partners.

Yours Truly is now convinced that this is the reason why he does not see the need to descend hard on rapists, because one surely needs to have a heart made of stone to engage in same sex affair.

It is just ungodly, but unAfrican, and despicable!

Now that his case is before the courts, Blabber hopes that justice will prevail, and set a very good example on how people, who condone the rape of minors, must be treated.

After all, Blabber is motivated by nothing, but the desire to preserve the little that remains of our moral fabric.

I rest my case!
