AFTER months of backlash on social media on his music production quality decline and unending battles with previous management, Sikhosana Buhlungu’s career has been given a lifeline, following his resurrection by Black Diva.

The South Africa-based Afro – AmaPiano singer Black Diva adopted Sikhosana despite criticism from the folklore musician’s fans, and together they produced a hit for the festive season titled, December.

The song was produced by SDIKSA, with Elcee Gweja credited for recording and mastering the banger.
Gone are the days when Sikhosana would enter the studio for the sake of it, and produce a tasteless song.

On the song December, he rose to the occasion and delivered a polished flow on the AmaPiano inspired instrumental, a sign of great improvement in his music.

From her base in Mzansi, Black Diva said she enjoyed working with the goofy Sikhosana, describing him as a dedicated creative who takes his work seriously.

“When Sikhosana visited Mzansi last month, I took an opportunity to approach him and proposed that we work together on a song. He loved the idea and together we have produced magic.

“He is a great artiste, who is passionate about music. It was fun to work with him, as he is a great individual with a great aura. He has so much pride, a sign that he believes in what he does.

“He takes his work very seriously as opposed to how he handles himself in social spaces. His work ethic is unmatched, and he is eager to learn and explore new sounds,” said Black Diva.

She revealed that, with this collaboration, she wanted to prove Sikhosana’s critics wrong, as instead of looking at the good side of him, they turned to focus on his flaws and imperfections.

“Sikhosana is a gem that needs guidance. He is a very funny and an influential individual, a very good content creator and comedian. I believe he just needs good guidance and energy.

“Through this song, I wanted to prove people wrong, as they must not laugh at a man when he is down. Instead of suppressing someone, you have to help them to improve on their flaws,” said Diva.

Sikhosana who has returned to his homestead at Ezinyangeni, said at the thickets of Nkayi they are already jamming to the hit track.

“The moment I went to the studio with Diva I knew we would cook a hit. That child is down to earth and very accommodative. I wish that God can bless her and win more awards like me.

“Here in Nkayi the song is already an anthem, we are just waiting for December to experience a good vibe,” said Sikhosana.
