REJUVENATED Central Region Division One league side Blanket Mine will be out to continue with their good form when they face log leaders Tongogara at Battlefields this afternoon.The newcomers will go into the match full of confidence after they managed to beat another seasoned campaigner, Gaths Mine, 2-0 last weekend.
Coach Bennet Vikhumbo is hopeful that skipper Leo Rambayi and striker Munyaradzi Takarwesa will give Tongogara a good run.
“We are playing an experienced team that has been doing well but we are ready for the match and we will give them a good game,” Vikhumbo said.
The coach also took a swipe at the referees.
“Referees are influencing results, which is not good for the sport to develop. I feel pained when referees treat some teams unfairly and I can single out our game against MSU, which up to now I feel that we were cheated,” said Vikhumo.
Tongogara are still to lose a match since the beginning of the campaign.
