SOUTH African pop outfit Blaq Diamond will arrive in Zimbabwe on Saturday afternoon, a few hours before their performance at the inaugural 2023 July Festival.
The event will be held at The Odyssey Kadoma Hotel.
Ammara Brown, Nutty O, Pintec and Uncle Epaton are part of the line-up.
Show coordinator, Dee Nosh, told H-Metro everything was now in place.
“Our visitors will only arrive on Saturday afternoon in Harare and we anticipate a full house,” he said.
“We are glad preparations have gone according to plan with all the artists on the line-up having confirmed their participation.
“Tickets are going for US$5 for the rest of the ground and US$15 for VIP. We have also included limited VVIP tickets which are going for U$$50.
“Initially, we thought we were only going to cater for the youths but we were surprised by the mature crowd who called us wanting to buy tables.”
Nosh said he was impressed by the appeal of music’s Young Turks.
“It’s strange how trends are changing with each passing day.
“I have seen most of these stars evolving and we are grateful that they are really doing well, especially Nutty O and Ammara Brown. I am glad to have supported them and to have been part of this movement,” he said.
Blaq Diamond is not new to Zimbabwe having performed in Gweru, Harare and Bulawayo in the past.
