AWARD-WINNING female blogger, Ameera Mimi, says her blog focuses on how women should be perceived, presented and heard.
The 31-year-old lifestyle, travel, fashion and beauty blogger, has been showcasing Zimbabwe globally.
Ameera said she seeks to empower women to strive for more for themselves so that, through hard work, they can achieve their dreams.
“I enjoy showcasing the beauty of our continent and the different narratives to the story of young women in Africa.
“l drive life balance, healthy living, self-love, showcasing how plus size women or women of all shapes, sizes, races can be comfortable in their skin and can take ownership of their identity.
“I hope to continue to be part of the online conversation and the journey I started with my audience 10 years ago.
“I also help nurture the young talent that is also emerging, and through cross generational conversations, we can continue to create a space where African female creatives can be comfortable to create content and contribute to the discourse around femininity and lifestyles,” she said.
Ameera has been in the industry for 10 years and won the LIMA 2022, African Female Blogger of the Year.
She looks forward to working with brands across the continent.
She is inspired by the digital landscape and fellow content creators who have collectively brought a new narrative to the young aspirational African.
