TOP Harare-based football institution, BN Academy, is set to hold a week-long training camp in Bulawayo, beginning tomorrow.

The camp will be held at St Thomas Aquinas School, with players from the age of five to 18 taking part.

The academy is the brainchild of junior soccer development consultant, Bhekimpilo Nyoni.

Nyoni said they would be emphasising more on skills and technique development. “We are excited to be coming to Bulawayo. We aim to emphasise on skills and technique development and we will mainly do it for school-going kids, who do not have access to showcase their soccer talent,” said Nyoni.

Nyoni says they will decide on whether to set up base in Bulawayo judging by the response they will get from the camp.

“We are excited because we have already received a positive response from the Bulawayo community and we are excited that Joel Luphahla, Godfrey Paradza and Garthly Chipuka have been confirmed as coaches for the programme,” said Nyoni. ― @innocentskizoe.
