Body dumped in cattle kraal

A MARANGE man was early Monday morning found dead in a cattle kraal with bruises all over his body in a suspected murder case.

The lifeless body of Clever Gumisai (51) was found a day after a search for him had been launched.

Acting Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka, confirmed the incident which happened in Mabvengwa Village in Chief Marange’s area.

“Gumiasi left home and went to Mabvengwa Business Centre in the company of his brother-in-laws, Werbo (41) and Charles Mutudza (49). The deceased’s wife, Mollen Mutudza (51) retired to bed before Gumisai returned home.

“The following day, Gumisai’s son, Daniel discovered his father’s body in a cattle kraal at their homestead. The body had bruises all over and severe wounds on the head,” said Assistant Inspector Chinyoka.

Investigations are in progress.
